Burton's Persians is a small cattery located in the Texas Hill Country. We raise Persians, Himalayans and Exotic Shorthairs with sweet personalities and loving temperaments. Kittens are CFA and/or TICA registered. We strive to raise healthy, loving kittens that uphold the breed's standards. Our kittens are bred from titled show pedigrees. Kittens are from PKD, FeLV and FIV negative parents.
Persian Kittens will grow and be with your family for up to 20 years so please invest your time to evaluate that your kitten is a good match for your family. Protect yourself and your future kitten because no one can afford the heartbreak resulting from a suffering pet. Top premium foods are fed and safe all natural corn litter is used which is safe for the cats to ingest when they lick their paws. Taking your time to find the right kitten will pay off in a companion kitten you will cherish for a lifetime.

OUR BREEDS
PERSIAN
The Persian is a heavily boned, well-balanced cat with a sweet expression and soft, round lines. This cat has large round eyes set wide apart in a large round head. The long thick coat softens the lines of the cat and accentuates the roundness in appearance.
COLORPOINT PERSIAN
or HIMALAYAN
The Himalayan is a hybrid breed identical to the Persian, but distinguished by the points on the cats’ extremities (the facial mask, feet, ears, and tail) which results in a Persian-type cat with the coloring and deep blue eyes of the Siamese-patterned cat. The ideal Himalayan is a strong cat with excellent boning and musculature, a well-balanced cat, giving the impression of robust power.
EXOTIC SHORTHAIR
The ideal Exotic should present an impression of a heavily boned, well balanced cat with a sweet expression and soft, round lines. The large, round eyes set wide apart in a large round head contribute to the overall look and expression. The thick, plush coat softens the lines of the cat and accentuates the roundness in appearance.
